Look for a Better Web Hosting Company
April 17, 2009
My wife and I are bloggers. We blog for a living and for fun. If the web hosting service goes down, we would be in panic because we would loose income for days. A few weeks ago, my wife has been complaining about her web hosting service because not only does it always go down, it also has poor customer care service. Last week, she did the painstaking task of transferring her files manually. To top it all, the pc monitor was having trouble and we had to make do with a pink screen. Fortunately, only one web site is hosted by that service provider and our other sites on another web hosting company. The company that hosts our other web sites and blogs is by far the best web hosting company that we have ever done business with. It has excellent customer care, does not go down a lot, and if it does, they immediately send a message via email explaining the trouble. They also update their services regularly to ensure the best service and a user friendly interface in file storages.
If you are looking for a hosting service, it would be best to check the forums and comments first before paying for it to prevent future headaches and disruption.
I’m A Movie Addict
January 25, 2009My family and I enjoy watching movies in theaters when there is a movie worth watching. Sometimes we watch movies for children like cartoons and animation. My wife preffers movies that hits big on critics and reviews. As for me, Marvel movies, comedy, Johnny Depp movies, Adam Sandler movies and sequels to popular movies like Star Wars, Star Trek and others. When my wife and I decide to watch a movie that would not fit my son’s age, we just leave him to play in one of those play areas in malls where we know he would be safe. I just visit him once in a while to bring him food and drinks or to ask if he is ok. At the end of 2008, we watched this movie, where before the movie started there were trailers of movies to come in 2009. My heart leaped when I saw the Wolverine movie and the other movies that would be available in 2009.
This month of May 2009. I would be spending a lot of hard earned cash for a movie house marathon with my wife and son. On top of the list is “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. The story is focused on the hot headed X man Wolverine it talks about his origins and his forgotten life before he was transformed by project X a secret military operations. 2nd is “Dragonball Evolution”. Actually I am very sceptical about this movie. Dragonball as we know it is a Japanese anime about awesome people who saves the world from evil domineering aliens. The movie will star Chow Yun Fat and several american actors and actresses. But still, i will watch that movie this year. There are other movies like Harry Potter, Iron Man2, Captain America, and Thor that I relly need to watch in the big screens. Others I would like to watch free movies online. I was even thinking to watch Slumdog Millionair online or even The Unborn.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
May 25, 2008
Me and my wife watched the movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at SM Davao last night. Overall, the film was very good, funny, and really very entertaining. Moreover, the casting was perfect. Kate Blanchet was really good so is Harrison Ford and the rest of the cast. The Productiion was also awe aspiring as the film was produced by George Lucas and Directed by Steven Speilberg a tandem made by the Gods.
At the first few mins of the film, I was wondering why Harrison Ford was chosen to be Indiana Jones because i thought that he was really too old for the role. But as the movie progressed, I have deduced that the film is also a preparation for another Indiana Jones sequel in the near future but with a different actor. I hope there will be another sequel soon.
Do we really need new friends?
May 3, 2008Do we really need new friends? Of course life would not be as exciting if a person has no friends. Personally, the need for new friends have not entered my mind recently as because I find the company of old ones enough. Chatting online in the hope of finding new friends has been really fun. However, I doubt that I could ever find a new friend to add to my long list. With my rather busy schedule and I have managed to fit online chatting in my day to day itinerary. Some gave me links to their page on 3gb where I could see their pictures and know more about them. Some even add friends just so they have a lot of them and never really cared if you become good personal friends and just someone who they met online.
These days, busy people such as myself who spend more time in their desk rather than outside really needs to connect with friends once in a while. Having a beer or just talking with friends really makes a difference not only for you but between peers. Sure small talk are sometimes annoying like when you and the person you are chatting with online talks about the weather, politics, and trivial personal matters.
